Writing is the only thing that comes naturally to me. It is my purpose in life. I just need a little help getting my voice out there.

Bloggers are writers too!! I've got 3 great blogs out there through Google's Blogger service: A Cynic's Paradise, Matchday LIVE! USA, and Mike's Personal Ramblings. I think they're worthy of "good writer" status, but check it out for yourself!

I can be as objective as humanly possible, but I tend to get a greater response when I incorporate my opinion. I like to write from an angle that evokes some sort of emotion from readers.

Cover Letters and Resumes are you advertisment, much the same as a newspaper ad for a Big Screen HDTV. Does the ad tell you who and where the TV would like to be used in your home? Does the ad tell you who the TV will permit to watch it. Does the ad say to its reader, this HDTV must be given two weeks off to rest at least once a year? No, and neither should you or your cover letters and resumes. But the reality is most, even those prepared by so-called professional resume writers do exactly that. Well, here's the straight skinny! The interview is not about you, it is all about your prospective employer and if your cover letters and resumes (your newspaper ads) are not written that way you'll never be asked to interview. But don't worry, when you are offered the job it will be you turn to interview your new employer before accepting their offer; now you may ask about benefits, vacations, evaluations, raises and promotions, etc. If you are not aware of this we really need to talk, and I'll talk for FREE.
